Upon visiting my son's memorial tree this evening I was surprised to see that some random stranger had planted flowers at the base of his tree. You can see that story here.
Have you experienced a random stranger honoring your child, and if so, in what way?

i just answered a similar question from butterfly mommies and posted a link to my blog there so i won't ramble long here:)
but i guess i've been so written off by a few but very important people in my life that i often dream that one day some one, any one will say or do something that remembers my child.
the kindest rememberences have been the comments and support i have gotten on my blog. we all go through such unique circumstances and feel so differently about things and yet, here in blog land, we can over look our differenecs and just support each other.this has been invaluable.
when i thought i was alone in this world, i found this blog! i ran across a particular mom's blog completely by accident and it took me here and i realized: THERE WERE OTHERS! and it blessed my socks off.
so:) YOU have given me one of the biggest blessings of all. thank you for keeping this blog. i'm sorry that you know this horrible pain and that you even had to start it but i'm so glad that you did.
the people at the cemetery and the funeral home were also very kind to me and they were total strangers.
I once came to visit my daughter's grave and saw that someone had placed a single, pink rose on each and every spot in the baby/child section of the cemetery.
I often find that someone has carefully arranged the angels on my daughter's grave. It's comforting to know that someone else visits her.
