New Here?

Every so often I check the stats on blogger to see how many people are reading, what they're reading, where they're from.  I click on their link and I usually end up at a blog or two that I've never seen before.  I lost my son in April 2010 and started blogging the June after.  I don't think I've actively searched for blogs in a year or more.  So, I'd like to open the comments up to anyone who would like to share their blog with us.  Are you new to blogger?  New to this community?  I am so sorry you're here.  But I'm glad you've found the support.

Please feel free to comment with any information you'd like to share about your baby.

  1. I can't believe I haven't run across your blog before. Our first baby, Eve, was stillborn at 31 weeks in November 2011, cause unknown. I've been blogging about it nearly since it happened as a way to process. Sucks to be in the "dead baby club."

  2. I found your blog shortly after my son died and have been hoping for an update since. I attended a loss group shortly after he passed and when someone asked me where I was going I replied 'dead baby club'. The response I got was a dirty look and I was told that it wasn't alright to say such things. But it does feel like that doesn't it? A club you never wanted to join, but the only place where people understand.

He was born full term (23rd March 2012) only he didn't breathe. They managed to resuscitate him, but he went too long without oxygen. He died at 3 days old and I miss him so so much. He was my first child and so far remains so.

Thank you for the opportunity to share.

  4. My son Seth was stillborn at 39 weeks on March 18, 2012. I began blogging to release the grief. The beginning of my blog is raw with emotion. Now, I am also blogging about my journey back to joy.
